We have received this story from all kinds of places – from our parents, from events that happened, from culture or society as a whole.
But, what if our core, our child within is already perfect? What would that feel like?
When we say perfect, I don't mean the achiever's definition of perfect… with the house, the cars, the money, the body, etc., etc., etc. I'm not talking about outward "perfection." I'm talking about intrinsic inward perfection.
What if we were and are a child within locked at our core, we are consciousness?
What if there is nothing wrong with us? But instead, what if how we think is "wrong" with us are just brilliant ways for us to have got our needs met? our need for love, to feel valuable, to feel worthy, to feel significant, to feel variety and connection, a redundant coping strategy from childhood.
And that we have been doing the best we can from our point of view to get these needs met?
And what if there were healthier ways to get our needs met?
What story have we been telling ourself about what's wrong with us?
You're too – what?
Or... you're not enough – what?
Are those stories actually true? Or could there be another way?
Could there be a more empowering story that we could tell ourself about who we really are? Instead of feeling like a failure or feeling wrong or feeling like we aren't enough, what if we changed the story to...
We did the absolute best that you could given our life circumstances!
And that we know that we are MORE than our present circumstances and so we can rise above them by making a new choice. That our circumstances are not our identity – our identity is the child hidden within – an Infinite Child with Infinite potential connected to an Infinite Child Within and that as we learn new skills, make new distinctions and become even MORE aware of the child withins perfection within us – we can re-create new habits and re-create our true identity.
If that is true, what would be possible for us? What in our life will change?

what if we are black? what if our parents are drug addicts? what if we have been raped? what if we live in the projects? what if we are living in poverty? what if we cannot walk the streets? what if we are literally starving? what if?
We have had an ongoing debate within our course work and facts to do with all sorts of mental health problems, birth defects etc. Does not change the fact that we are at the point of conception born perfect and can and do return to this point longer explanations are on tenstages.blogspot.com. I personally had a major problem with this point, but got it to work for myself as a healthy basis for recovery instead of the blame and shame.
I thank you so much for commenting
Most people joining us have these problems and more
